Properties:
Benzalkonium Chloride is a kind of cationic surfactant, a nonoxidizing biocide. It can efficiently kill bacteria and algae ,and con-reproduction and sludge growth.
DDBAC/BKC is a kind of the Quaternary ammonium class of Cationic surfactants, which belongs to nonoxidizing biocide. It has a broad-spectrum and high-efficiency sterilization ability, can effectively control the growth of algae and slime in the water.
DDBAC/BKC also has dispersing and penetrating properties, with advantages of low toxicity, no toxicity accumulation, soluble in water, convenient in use, unaffected by water hardness. It plays a good role in the release of mud and has deodorant ability and corrosion inhibition.
It is widely used in petroleum, chemical, power, textile and other industries in the circulating cooling water system, to control the bacteria Algae breeding in circulating cooling water system.
It can be also used as anti-mildew agent, antistatic agent, emulsifying agent and amendment agent in woven and dyeing fields.
It is also widely used as a disinfectant in the Hospital, Livestock and Personal Hygiene sectors. Dual biocidal and detergency properties ensure high efficacy against Bacteria, Algae and Fungi and enveloped Viruses at exceptionally low ppm concentrations.
3.Instructions:
Benzalkonium chloride is used as a raw materia for bactericidal and algaecide, the general dosage is 50-100mg/L; as a slime stripping agent, the dosage is 200-300mg/L, and an appropriate amount of silicone defoamer can be added when needed. Benzalkonium chloride can be used in conjunction with other fungicides, such as isothiazolinone, glutaraldehyde, dithiocyanomethane, etc., and can have a synergistic effect, but it cannot be used together with chlorophenols. After adding benzalkonium chloride, the filth in the circulating water due to stripping should be filtered or removed in time to avoid deposition after the foam disappears.
Benzalkonium chloride should not be mixed with anionic surfactants such as polyacrylic acid, hydrolyzed polymaline, etc.
4.Response:
If swallowed: Rinse mouth. Do NOT induce vomiting. Consult a physician.
If swallowed: Call a poison center/doctor if you feel unwell.
If on skin (or hair): Take off immediately all contaminated clothing. Rinse skin with water/shower.Take off contaminated clothing and wash it before reuse.
If inhaled: Remove person to fresh air and keep comfortable for breathing. Consult a physician.
If in eyes: Rinse cautiously with water for several minutes. Remove contact lenses, if present and easy to do. Continue rinsing. Consult a physician.
5.Packaging and storage:
